Advocacy

At GTCASA, we are committed to advocating for the recognition and support of gifted learners in South Australia. Our advocacy endeavours aim to achieve the following outcomes, in line with the national focus of the AAEGT:

  • Inclusion of gifted education and the specific needs of gifted learners in all key education documents.

  • Establishment of a funded state-level Strategic Plan dedicated to enhancing the learning experiences and socio-emotional well-being of gifted students across South Australia.

Together, we are stronger

We invite parents, teachers, researchers, and all individuals passionate about gifted education to join us in advocating for these crucial initiatives. By reaching out to local politicians, we can amplify our voices and make a meaningful impact on the policies and practices that affect gifted learners in our community.

Your help matters

Personalised letters to Members of Parliament (MPs) are particularly effective in conveying our message. We encourage individuals residing in South Australia to connect with their local MPs and express their support for our advocacy campaign. Together, we can create positive change and ensure that gifted learners receive the recognition and resources they deserve.
